1/4cupVanilla Sugar
1/2cupConfectioners’ Sugar orPowdered Sugar
2/3cupCocoa Powder
4ozBar of Bittersweet or Semi-sweet ChocolateGrated
1/2tspInstant Espresso Powder
1/2tspCornstarch
Instructions
Place 4 oz Bar of Bittersweet or Semi-sweet, grated chocolate in a large bowl and sieve in 1/2 cup of Confectioners sugar, ¼ cup of Vanilla sugar, 2/3 cup cocoa powder, ½ tsp cornstarch, and 1over the chocolate.
Give everything a good mix and place the mixture in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
When you’re ready to make yourself a cup of hot chocolate, simply add 1 cup of whole milk to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer, add 3 tablespoons (or more if you like it stronger) of the hot chocolate mix to the simmering milk and cook for 1 minute making sure to stir the whole time.
Pour into a mug, top with some whipped cream and enjoy!
